Yoon Kim, CEO
Prior to joining Novauris as CEO, Yoon Kim co-founded NeoSpeech Inc., a speech technology startup in the Silicon Valley. He was with the Speech Technology and Research (STAR) Laboratory at SRI International, and Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. Yoon has also served as a member of the ETSI STQ Aurora DSR Standards Workgroup. He currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Speech Technology Magazine.
Yoon has more than 15 years of industry and research experience on many aspects of speech technology and solutions for embedded, network and distributed environments, and has published several papers, patents, and international standards-related documents on advanced speech technology for mobile and multimodal applications. He has given talks at major conferences and workshops on business and technology innovations pertaining to speech technology and multimodal interfaces. Yoon holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
